Food bad staff bad just never weird again

Are enthusiastic guests in the Dorfstübel. Always worth a visit whether to a coffee with a great piece of cake, or for delicious food (all very good !!!). The warmth and hospitality of the team makes you feel welcome. I think it suuuper !!!! My icing on the "i" when I go to Hauenstein.

Schnitzel was very good, almost as in the globe unfortunately a bit too little salt. The atmosphere gives you the typical Palatine so in order. As already mentioned, I have a jägerschnitzel approved for a feast, the sauce the Schnitzel and the fries were very good, the vegetable soup served before and the salad were also a good meal. However .. there was no Karlsberg Urpils, what shocked me after a 1 hour journey from the Saarland already very much. There were only Bitburger and Paulaner ... By the way, the dishes have a very unusual shape, but I do not want to criticize them, only I like it, a bit too broad. What was really very provocative for me and almost negative phrases was the same, that there was no pasta and following despite demand no Majo was brought to my fries at the table. This was quite a cheek, after all, you have a right to the right side dish to his fried potato pieces. In the end, I give 3 stars. Next year I will come back and see if these negative aspects have been compensated. Then maybe I give 4 stars.

There were two to eat. The food was top notch, as was the courteous service. We would be well advised on your choice of food. The portion was very ample. The roast wild boar was very tender, and the chestnut vegetables were perfect. Super combination. We would love to come back!

Rip off on August 7th, 2018, table 23 in the Dorfstube Hauenstein. There are old Pfalz magazines lying around and then you have € 4.00 miscellaneous on the bill. Before ordering, no children's card was given even though a 6-year-old child was present. The Black Forest mineral water was already open, although almost every restaurateur should know the regulations. If you have any questions, I am at your disposal as the DEHOGA district chairman of Bad Bergzabern or the office. It's a shame, we have made this comment in our guest directory of our 5 star apartments in Rinnthal !! to experience our guests a nice vacation in the Palatinate.

If you weren't so arrogant towards the customer, you would have a full five stars. The ambience is right, it is child-friendly and everything was very well cooked and prepared except for the rump steak. The napkins folded into a shoe shape are also one of many nice accessories. Unfortunately, I was too nice and tried to eat the actually inedible piece of meat (unfortunately so far through that it tasted a bit like liver) because my wife didn't want me to complain directly. After this then also seriously doubted the quality and even disgusted, I tried to complain. The chef Sylvia Keller came personally to want to make me know in an unprofessional tone that I should then order "English", that was her "medium". In truth, she actually wanted to tell me that it bothers me, that I half ate the steak and only then complained. Ok, my mistakes, but why then lie to me Ms. Keller? As I said, you can try to eat there, but criticism is not welcome. [Picture shows the first cut piece at the thickest point of the steak] Usually you can still eat it when you see it, but in that case poor meat quality was unlucky with the preparation or similar .....

So clean ,so friendly! Our fourth stop at Frau Keller's delightful hotel.
